"Three years ago, your personal and caring attention helped my daughter achieve exceptional SAT scores and get into her first-choice university, UCSB.

Now, once again you have worked your magic, especially with your knowledge and understanding of the new SAT format. My son's scores were something to be proud of: Critical Reading 660, Math 720, and Writing 760!

We were very pleased with your approach, and obviously the results speak for themselves. Mark also was accepted at his first-choice university, Cal Poly SLO. Thanks for all you do!"

"I want to thank you for the great job you did assisting my son in preparing for the SATs.  He took the SAT prep classes (math and critical reading) this summer, and improved his scores by 80 points in each section.  He now feels a lot more confident about being accepted at his preferred colleges."

Services

Test Preparation

I have worked with hundreds of students on preparation for a wide variety of standardized tests. I work with both middle school and high school students to prepare for the PSAT, SAT and ACT exams (including the Middle School SAT). Students applying for graduate school may need assistance with preparation for the GRE. In addition, I can help high school students or adults prepare for the GED exam.

Students applying to private or parochial schools may benefit from one-on-one work to prepare for entrance exams such as the SSAT, COOP, ISEE and ERB exams.

Writing Skills

Writing Skills can be improved at any age! I work with students in middle school, high school and college, as well as adults. For students, I can help with any writing curriculum area. For adults, the focus may include business writing or résumés.

Work on writing skills may cover general topics where students need help, or may focus on specialty areas such as college application or entrance exam essays.

Interview Skills

I work with students of all ages to improve their interview skills - for private or parochial high schools and college, as well as graduate school and job interviews.

Public Speaking

The ability to speak in front of a group is essential.  Students will learn how to improve their classroom presentation skills while adults become more effective in business situations.

ESL

English as a Second Language (ESL) students may benefit from private tutoring in a variety of areas such as accent reduction, communication skills, vocabulary enhancement and reading skills.
